It’s not every day that a big name in the world of children’s librarianship includes one of your books in a post about delightful board books, so please indulge me as I engage in a bit of gushing.
The one-and-only Betsy Bird, author, librarian, pod-caster and School Library Journal blogger, included ANIMALS MOVE (Pajama Press, 2022) in a post entitled “2022 Board Books: Some Delights So Far”, and I could not be more thrilled. I have a passion for photo-filled board books, and I’m tickled pink that Ms. Bird does, too! There’s nothing quite as fascinating for the littlest readers as photos of other littles, and while I’ll always appreciate beautiful illustrations, I’m always excited to see more photo-filled board books.
