While I always encourage people to shop local and independent whenever possible, there’s no denying that Chapters/Indigo is the big fish in the Canadian bookselling market, and to get a seal of approval from the country’s largest book retailer is no small thing.
Yes, that’s 24 Sleeps Till Christmas on sale for only $15.39 as part of Indigo’s Our Most Anticipated Canadian Books promotion! It’s actually a really good price, given that you’re essentially getting twenty-four picture book-length stories for under $20! And I don’t actually get any royalties from the sale of the book (it was a writer-for-hire gig), so I’m not trying to sell you anything. 😉 I’m just really, really proud of this book, and I’m thrilled that it’s on sale for such an affordable price!
It’s a bit funny to think about Christmas when it’s going to get to 26 degree today, but it’ll be here before you know it. 😉
