It’s beyond exciting to share these sneak peeks into my upcoming books, I can hardly wait until I have copies of them in my hands.
This week I’m giving you a little sneak peek into my upcoming toddler book with Pajama Press: ANIMALS MOVE. This colourful book is packed with adorable photos of baby animals and cute kiddos moving and grooving and living their best lives. It is absolutely perfect for all your toddler, preschool and family storytime and circle time needs! I see you, fellow children’s librarians and amazing early childhood educators. 🙂
Of course for my first sneak peek I just had to share a picture of a kitten (which is also featured on the front cover) – what kind of cat lady would I be if I didn’t? Look at this adorable kitten, and that sweet little one showing off her best kitten pounce! I can just see all the toddlers pouncing around the library – this is going to make for one wild and wonderful program. I’m a strong believer in the importance of physical literacy in early education, hence the amount of movement in my stories. Children were made to move!
Did you know you can actually pre-order a copy of ANIMALS MOVE? Pre-orders are immensely helpful for authors and publishers, so if you ever come across a title you’re interested in (say, a picture book about busy baby animals), consider pre-ordering it. Oh, and don’t forget to put in those reviews! They only take a moment, but they can mean the world to an author, particularly one like me who publishes with smaller, independent Canadian publisher who need all the support they can get to compete with the big American publishers.
