As I’ve mentioned before, 2022 is going to be a bit of a wild year in terms of my writing career, as I’ll be sending three new picture books out into the wild world. The first of these three is a camping-themed picture book that will be coming out in the early summer with Nimbus Publishing, and which celebrates my life-long love of the great outdoors.
I’m beyond thrilled to share that I’ll be working on this book with Canadian illustrator Bryanna Chapeskie!
Based in beautiful Nova Scotia, Bryanna is a talented artist and designer with a passion for exploring and encouraging creativity. She also seems to be a bit of a cat lady like myself, which makes me feel even more confident in her ability to bring my characters and their antics to life.
Check back over the next few months as I share sneak peeks into my new book with Bryanna and Nimbus – I’ve already had a chance to look at some of Bryanna’s work, and I am beyond excited to share her colourful, vibrant, joyful characters with you, I’m sure you’re going to love them as much as I do!
