Guest Post: Supporting Bilingualism with Natalia Sepulveda

June 27, 2019April 30, 2019 Jane the Raincity Librarian Post a comment

Today’s guest post is from blogger, translator, educator and bilingualism advocate Natalia Sepulveda. Natalia’s blog Bilingual Lifestyle is a great resource for librarians, educators and caregivers looking to support children and families with two (or more!) home languages.

Hi, I’m Natalia, a bilingual mom from Orlando, Florida. I started my bilingual journey on social media through my blog Bilingual Lifestyle with the purpose of connecting and supporting moms around the world. After completing a Bachelors and Masters in Spanish, with a certification in translating and interpreting, I decided to put my skills to good use and make my blog bilingual. Throughout my journey, I have learned so much from so many mothers and teachers- and made beautiful friendships. Currently, I am a Spanish children’s book translator and reviewer. I blog about my faith, children’s books, bilingual and educational resources, sensory activities and my bilingual family adventures. I’m a literacy and bilingualism advocate, and I hope you can find some helpful resources in my blog. Recently, I have been hosting some giveaways through my collaborations to bless families, teachers, and churches with educational resources and books. I grew up without many resources, so the idea of providing and promoting these resources fills my heart. It makes me so happy to know that children can have access to these resources to improve their learning and individual development.

Thanks so much for telling us a bit about your blog, Natalia! You can connect with Natalia on social media, and be sure to check out the awesome giveaways she offers!
