Poetry Friday – Birthday, Birthday

June 8, 2018 Jane the Raincity Librarian 12 comments

It was my birthday this week (I turned 25…again!) and to celebrate, I thought I’d share a little birthday-themed haiku!

So many candles,

Each a happy year gone by,

Many more to come.

Happy Friday, Poetry Friday friends!

25 again, Jane! how marvelous. My mother used to say she was always 39 like Jack Benny. LOL! Anyways, it is great to celebrate birthdays no matter how many years go by.

Love your birthday haiku. I had a birthday last week too. Your cake is absolutely lovely and yellow is one of my favorite colors.
