Well, first and foremost, I am thankful for the internet! The computers were all down at our library this morning, and my goodness, what a headache that was! But everything is back up and running now, thanks to our hardworking IT team.
Here are some of the things that have caught my eye this week:
Are you a fan of Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy? A handful of illustrators share what they think their daemons would look like, in their own signature artistic styles.
Hmmm…what should I be for Halloween??? I’m working at the library that day, so maybe something book-themed? These costumes are pretty low-key, some of these costumes take a bit more effort, and these are pretty awesome too!
I’ll admit, some of these spoofs sound better than the originals….drop a letter, change the movie!
The Great British Bake Off is over for another year, such sadness. I’m happy for Nadiya, but my heart was with Tamal.
