It’s publication day for my second picture book, A Good Day for Ducks! I can’t believe my second book baby is finally here!
A Good Day for Ducks follows two children as they make the best of a rainy day by watching worms and ducks, jumping in puddles, and having hot chocolate afterwards in their fuzzy slippers! It’s absolutely inspired by life out here on the west coast, and a reminder to all of us to never let our soggy climate keep us from getting outdoors and enjoying our surroundings.
A big, big thank you to the team at Pajama Press for all their hard work and their trust, and of course to my incredibly talented illustrator, Noel, who took my sparse text and turned it into an adorable story full of movement and life.
